cat sitting Meet & Greet in bath
I offer a free cat sitting meet & greet in Bath with every new booking. This is a friendly visit that gives us the chance to meet in person, for me to get to know your cat, and for you to feel confident about leaving your pet and home in safe hands.

What Happens During a cat sitting Meet & Greet

-
I'll come to your home in Bath to say hello to you and meet your cat.
-
You can show me where everything is kept — food, bowls, litter trays, toys, and any other essentials.
-
We’ll go over your cat’s routines, quirks, and personality so I can look after them just the way you do.
-
You can let me know about any important details such as:
-
Access to the property (keys, key safe, alarm codes)
-
Rubbish and recycling information
-
Any house notes you’d like me to follow while you’re away

-
Some cats may be shy at first, and that’s perfectly normal. The meet & greet is a gentle introduction — I’ll take things at their pace so they feel comfortable.
The meet and greet is your chance to ask me any questions and make sure I'm the right cat sitter for you.
Timing & Cost

I usually recommend arranging the meet & greet within 3 weeks of your booking. This way, the details we discuss — from feeding routines to house notes — are fresh in my mind, ensuring I can provide the best care possible.
-
A meet & greet within 3 weeks of your booking is free and included in your booking.
-
If you’d like to arrange a meet & greet much further in advance (for example, 2–3 months ahead), I kindly request a £12 visit fee.

This is because I would still need to come back closer to the time for a refresher visit, and it may also be necessary for key collection. Charging separately for very early meet & greets allows me to set aside time fairly, as not everyone requires this, and it helps avoid situations where I’ve made multiple trips for bookings that later don’t go ahead.

A typical meet & greet lasts around 20–30 minutes, depending on how many details we need to go through.
After the Visit

-
To keep everything clear and in one place, I’ll ask you to complete a short Google Form. This includes:

-
The details we discussed (feeding, litter, routines)
-
Emergency contact information
-
Your vet’s details
-
-
I will also send you an invoice after the meet & greet, so everything is confirmed and ready for your booking.

For repeat bookings, another meet & greet isn’t usually needed unless you’ve moved, changed routines, or added a new cat to the family.
