You’ve seen plenty of cats on my page, but I thought it was about time I showed you the human behind the whiskers!
Hi, I’m Jolene – the founder of Cat Love Sitting, lifelong cat lover, and proud cat lady. Cats have always been a huge part of my life, and it’s from that love (and a lot of time spent with my own two, Aku and Kiki!) that this little business was born.
When I started Cat Love Sitting, my goal was simple: to give fellow cat parents peace of mind. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pets at home, whether it’s for a weekend away or a long holiday. That’s why I set up professional cat sitting services in Bath – so your cats can stay happy, safe, and comfortable in their own home while you’re away.
What does that look like in practice? Well, it’s the cuddles, the playtime, the treat-giving, and sometimes just the quiet company that cats appreciate. Every cat has their own personality and quirks, and I love getting to know each one. From the most confident lap cats to the shyest little souls, every kitty I care for gets treated as if they were my own.
Alongside running Cat Love Sitting, I’m also a very creative soul. I’m a parent, an artist, and a singer – creativity runs through everything I do. Whether it’s sketching portraits, designing graphics, or writing and singing songs, I’ve always loved expressing myself in different ways. For me, creativity and caring for cats go hand in hand – they’re both about patience, attention to detail, and cherishing little moments.
And when I’m not at home with cats, my daughter, or a sketchbook, you’ll often find me planning my next adventure. I love travelling, exploring new places, and soaking up inspiration from different cultures. Whether it’s wandering through historic cities, relaxing on a beach, or capturing new sights through my camera lens, travel is something that fills me up and gives me fresh energy to pour back into everything I do.
